Hannah Brown Ayers (Co-Director) was raised in Charlottesville, where she pursued acting at Live Arts and Old Michie Theatre, volunteered at the International Rescue Committee, and worked at Monticello. She studied History and French at the College of William & Mary and is currently pursuing a Masters in Development Practice at Columbia University.
Lance Warren (Co-Director) was raised in Virginia. While making That World is Gone, he interned as a video correspondent for C-VILLE Weekly and delivered groceries for Relay Foods. Lance studied History and Political Science at Syracuse University and received a Masters in History from Brandeis University. He is currently an Education Coordinator for the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
